Which image formats can I turn into a PDF?
This workflow accepts JPG or JPEG, PNG, and WebP files. Each selected image becomes one page in the finished PDF. Other image formats are not accepted by this tool unless you convert them first.
How do I change the image order?
Use the Up and Down controls in the image queue. BeanNest builds PDF pages in that visible order, so you can confirm the sequence before the file is prepared.
What do Fit image, A4, and Letter change?
Fit image sizes each PDF page from that image's decoded dimensions plus the chosen margin. A4 and US Letter use standard page sizes instead. Auto orientation follows each image, while Portrait or Landscape forces one orientation for every output page.
How do image quality and size goals work?
With no size goal, choose a JPEG quality preset from 60% through 95%, or set a custom value from 40% to 100%. A size goal is best effort: BeanNest lowers JPEG quality first and reduces image resolution only when needed, while keeping a 40% quality floor and a 25% resolution floor. The exact-size check reports whether the target was reached.
What happens to transparent PNG or WebP images?
Images are decoded, normalized for orientation, placed on a white background, and re-encoded as JPEG before they are embedded in the PDF. Transparent areas therefore become white rather than remaining transparent.
Does the PDF keep EXIF, GPS, or camera metadata?
No. Because the images are decoded and re-encoded, camera, location, and other original image metadata is not preserved in the embedded image data. The visual orientation is applied during decoding instead.
How is the PDF file named?
The download name is based on the first image in the final queue, with an -images.pdf suffix. Reordering the first image can therefore change the output filename as well as page order.
