This browser test checks the audio path you are using right now. It does not install drivers, rate hardware quality, or measure a calibrated sound-pressure level.
Start with a low comfortable system volume, play Left, Both, and Right separately, then record whether each channel sounded where you expected. Use Stop tone whenever you need to end playback.
Allow microphone access only when prompted, speak normally, and check that the live input meter moves when the browser receives sound.
Record up to five seconds and listen locally to confirm how your microphone sounds. Clear the sample when you are finished.
Speaker results come from what you report hearing after each browser-generated Left, Both, or Right tone; the browser does not listen to the speakers itself. The mic meter separately shows browser-observed microphone input.
