Safe replacement
Changing an option only changes the preview. `Apply to source` is the only action that replaces the source text, and it applies exactly what is already visible.
Privacy & sorting
Everything runs in this browser tab. Sorting uses a fixed English collation rule when the browser provides it so changing device locale does not silently change the selected A–Z behavior.
